Pipe Thread Sealant
We supply two distinct variations of Pipe Thread Sealants. NEOLUBE® NO. 100 is a high-performance pipe thread sealant, designed for locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings. Neolube® No. 1260 is a high-temperature lubricant and sealant is used in critical service applications to 635°C (1175°F) and 2300 psi (16 MPa).
Neolube® Pipe Thread Sealant No. 100
This Pipe Thread Sealant has a low halogen content and extremely high strength. NEOLUBE® NO. 100 is a high-performance, pipe thread sealant, designed for locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings. This sealant is a creamy paste formulated to impart lubricity for assembly purposes, to provide immediate low-pressure sealing, and to cure to a solid for sealing and securing threaded pipe connections. This product has excellent solvent resistance and withstands temperatures to 300°F (149°C) continuously. NEOLUBE® NO. 100 PIPE THREAD SEALANT is recommended for sealing thread fittings in fossil fuel, solar and hydropower plant piping systems. Application areas include Instrumentation, Hydraulics, Pumps and Valves, Fuel Oil Piping, Water/Coolant Systems, Compressors, Condensers, Gas Lines, Controls, Electrical Conduit, Low-Pressure Steam Lines, and Rad-Waste Systems.
Neolube® No. 1260 High-Temperature Sealant and Lubricant
This High-Temperature Sealant and Lubricant is used in critical service applications to 635°C (1175°F) and 2300 psi (16 MPa). It exhibits excellent lubricity characteristics and is suitable for use in the containment and/or secondary side in nuclear applications. NEOLUBE® No. 1260 has a high chemical purity, excellent thermal stability, low halogen content and excellent radiation resistance, which makes it very advantageous for use in critical service applications. Joints sealed with NEOLUBE® No. 1260 will be easy to disassemble even after years of high-temperature service because the paste does not harden or cure.
